F.B.C.C Rally 2023

"Theme Mods And Rockers"

26th to 29th May 2023. Worsley Cruising Club will be hosting, The Federation of Bridgewater Cruising Clubs annual rally.

Again this year we will be holding the Rally on our club site. There has been, and continues to be, a lot of development in the area around our club, "Now called Barton Village". This development has made a vast improvement to the area, both visually and socially.

Again the only drawback with holding the rally at our club site, is mooring space. We do not intend to use the towpath for mooring. All boats will be moored on the club side of the canal, so the majority of boats will have to be breasted up two, three or even four at the north end of the moorings. We have also been given permission to clear and use the canal side south of our moorings towards the tank. this should ease the mooring space somewhat, however if the number of entrants exceeds our mooring capacity it may be necessary to return some entry forms and fees. (These will be the last ones received.) We do not intend to have any moorings north of Patricroft Bridge or South of the tank, as we feel this would be too far to walk to the rally site.

Last time we hosted the Rally at our club site, we feel it was successful. All that being said, we look forward to seeing you all for a great weekend.
